With a couple of hundred feet between my helicopter and the highway, accurate vision is important. Thousands of people rely on me every morning to get them where they need to go. I perform so much better at my job since my LASIK procedure. Now that I don't need to worry about my glasses and contacts I can finally focus my attention where it belongs.

I am so happy with the way the vision correction procedure has worked that I would recommend Dr. Foote and his staff to anyone.

As a doctor I understand all the concerns and decisions that go into having surgery. I also know the importance of choosing an experienced surgeon. I chose Dr. Foote because he is a certified and highly experienced LASIK surgeon. The procedure itself was so safe and quick. I was in and out of the office in about an hour and noticed improvement in my vision the very next day.

Old habits are hard to break - I still occasionally reach for my glasses during the night to read the time on my clock/radio, despite the fact that my vision is nearly perfect. Since having the procedure performed on April 19th of this year, I have experienced no pain or discomfort whatsoever during or after the surgery. Amazingly, I went to work the next day as a FedEx courier with no difficulty whatsoever.

I was wearing glasses for 28 years when I finally had LASIK. To me, LASIK is nothing short of a miracle! My surgery was so successful that I was able to throw out my glasses & contacts! I went from a minus 8 to almost perfect vision. I can now do all the activities that my boys like to do, (especially wrestling) with no fear of breaking my glasses or loosing a contact lens.

I am now enjoying my ninth day of improved vision without the hassle of contact lenses or eyeglasses. The LASIK surgery with the monovision approach is working well for me. This past Thursday I skied (downhill) for the first time since the surgery. It was a cloudy day with light snow and very flat light. I had absolutely no problems with my vision. My sincere thanks to the staff at Milwaukee Eye Care Associates for a job well done.

It's my job to be inquisitive so naturally I had many questions before my LASIK surgery. Dr. Foote and his staff were so helpful in addressing my fears and made me feel so at ease. The procedure was over in just a couple of minutes and I noticed improvement in my vision the very next morning.

I am writing to tell you how pleased I am with the LASIK surgery that you performed on me on March 17, 2000. My vision improved from -375 to -.25 in my right eye and -400 to -.50 in my left eye. I am very impressed with how well I can see. My only regret is that I did not have the surgery done sooner. Thank you very much for taking such good care of my eyes!

When I began doing research on LASIK surgeons, everyone that I turned to for advice recommended Dr. Foote. I knew that I wanted the best - now I'm seeing 20/20 without glasses. I would highly recommend Dr. Foote and his wonderful staff.

The surgery has freed me from the need of any correction by glasses or contact lenses. I even am able to enjoy the pleasure of being able to read the alarm clock when I awake.

 I had laser vision correction with Dr. Peter Foote, and I was thoroughly pleased with the entire experience.  It was first class all the way.  He answered all my questions and even more importantly created a level of comfort that made everything seem so easy. Right after the procedure was completed, someone came up to me and wanted to know how it felt.  I said that they would not believe how easily it's done.  My first comment to Dr. Foote was, "Is that it?  It's over already?" The next morning I had the great joy of getting up, looking at the alarm clock, and seeing the time on the clock without reaching and searching for my glasses.  I am often asked for advice from those still considering the procedure.  My comment is the same today as it was a week after Dr. Foote performed the procedure.  THE ONLY THING I REGRET IS THAT I DIDN'T HAVE IT DONE SOONER.  I should add that I was especially comfortable with Dr. Foote because of the high marks he had received in Milwaukee Magazine from other doctors. It can't get much better than getting eye work done by the doctor picked by his peers as the best in the area.  I have also been back for follow up exams and everything has gone great.  I almost feel sorry for those still wearing glasses and want to tell them how much better things can be.
